Bio
My grandfather & grandmother (Stewart and Alberta Jones) purchased a cottage on West Lake Road in 1957 (Camp #10).
Since my first visit to Lake St. Catherine as a baby, my summers were always full of swimming, fishing, waterskiing, and having fun at 'Camp'.
In 2015 our family decided to sell Camp #10 and purchase a 4 season property on Cones Point. My wife Carrie and I moved here full time in 2017. We love living here with our dog Boone, and we enjoy hosting our family just about every weekend in the summer so they can enjoy the lake.
You'll find me out on the lake every weekend fishing, swimming, boating, and kayaking.
I started volunteering with the Lake St. Catherine Association (LSCA) in 2016 and became a Trustee on the board in 2018. I assist with publicity, membership, and IT, including: updating our website and Facebook pages, communicating with the lake community, and administering the yearly Membership Drive.
The LSCA is working on so many important projects for the current and future benefit of Lake St. Catherine, and it is very rewarding to be involved - most importantly, the Lake St. Catherine Watershed Action Plan (LWAP).
The LWAP will be a 3-year process to identify and communicate the problems and fixes within the LSC watershed to best protect water quality, wildlife habitat, and the lake’s ecosystem health. This plan will answer the questions 'what issues threaten the health of LSC the most?' and 'what can we do about them?' I am very excited to begin working on this important project for the preservation, protection and maintenance of Lake St. Catherine.
Thank you for your support of the LSCA!
